Help turn tears to smiles

Truly life has no greater responsibility or greater privilege than that of being entrusted to parent the next generation who will become the leaders of tomorrow.

The children of Bykota House have come through many different paths to be here in our family; some paths were simply very difficult; while others were extremely dangerous and painful.  We believe that every child deserves to be raised in a family, not an institution.  That is why Bykota House is not an orphanage.

We are a family.

We cannot do this without the partnership of others.
Like many other organizations, Bykota House is walking through a very difficult financial season.  We wish we could just say that we will be postponing various purchases.  We wish we could say we were cutting programs.  But we can't.

As most of you already know, Mark and I run International Orphan Aid as a very lean organization.  We live very simply and frugally while we strive to give the best care to the children of Bykota House that we can.  We simply have no areas in the budget to trim back.  Our expenses are very basic rent, utilities, food, medical/dental etc.

Please rejoice with us over the great honor and privilege we are blessed with here in SE Asia but we also need you to join us in prayer through this difficult financial season.

We are so thankful for our faithful partners who walk this journey with us each month.  We honor them for moving in obedience to the Lord's call to care for these precious children.  Together we are placing our trust in the Lord.

If the Lord has been prompting you to become a financial partner there truly is no time like the present.  NOW is certainly a time of need.  May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.

With love,
