The mission of Bykota House Children's home is to provide a loving home in order to enhance the safety, stability, and well-being of the children entrusted to us through the God-given model of a family.
"Be Ye Kind One To Another" We invite you to come alongside us in this journey!
BYKOTA HOUSE is a children's home that, unlike an orphanage or an institution, is based on the God-given model of a family. We are blessed to have some of the most precious children in Cambodia set into our family. Several of our children have special physical challenges that make their life much more difficult; requiring special care and nutrition.
"God sets the solitary into families" Psalms 68 BYKOTA HOUSE receives children who have been orphaned through death or abandonment. Children are not refused based on the basis of religion or physical illness or disabilities. Many of our children have extended family members who love them but are not able to take them into their own home and care for them on a permanent basis. We encourage these family relationships to continue and the children often visit their extended family during national holidays and school breaks.
"External religious worship, [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need" James 1:27a Amplified
BYKOTA HOUSE is a project of International Orphan Aid, a non-profit organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service, United States of America. We maintain a Memorandum Of Understanding, MOU, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cambodia and also an approved project agreement with Cambodia's Ministry of Social Affairs.
