Immunizations and Blood Tests

We rarely get a child at infancy, but regardless of what age they come to us we begin with blood testing followed by the following course of immunizations as recommended by the World Health Organization W.H.O.

Naturally some of our kids are nearly done and some are only beginning.  Bottom line is that by the time they are complete we would have spent a total of USD$566.75 per child.

Initial examination with blood testing for;

  • CBC
  • Hep B Ag/Ab (Quantitative)
  • HIV 1/2
  • HCV
  • VDRL/TPHA

Vaccinations: - Essential

DTP/Imovax/Hep B/Hib

  • Course of three of each with booster after one year
  • COST USD$192.00 for course and booster (If child under 12 years of age)

DPT/Imovax/HepB;

  • Course of theree of each with booster after one year
  • COST USD$172 for course and booster (If child over 12 years of age)

MMR

  • Course of two at least one year apart
  • COST USD$44 for course

Influenza A,B H1N1 are important for immune suppressed children and adults $23 per dose, annual.  Have 6 children needing this on an annual basis. COST USD$138

Hepatitis A for children $36 per dose two doses within six months COST USD$72

Hepatitis A for over 14 years $44 per dose two doses within six months COST USD$88
